The typical grant contract length is one year, although other arrangements are possible.
Option 1: Best for small orgs or those looking to supplement other grant writing staff
Discuss organizational goals, programs, and funding needs to determine appropriateness for grant funding
Extensively review critical organizational documents to gain a complete understanding of your mission, vision, and goals; organizational structure; financials; priorities; and desired outcomes
Research the availability of appropriate grant opportunities
Create a grant writing plan consisting of a timetable and critical information regarding application requirements and manage grant application timelines
Write drafts of grant application text for up to 15 grants and work in partnership with you to create a final product that you feel great about submitting
Track your organization’s yearly grant submissions, noting applications accepted, denied, or pending; whether follow-up reports are required and have been submitted; and when re-application is permitted

Option 2: Best for established orgs with modest grant funding needs or those looking to supplement other grant writing staff

Services that may be contracted for additional fees:
Assist in the development of an evaluation plan for your organization to enable you to provide required evaluation results for programs and projects receiving grant funding
Write required follow-up reports for grant awards
Support strategic planning; organizational decision-making at the administrative or Board level; meeting facilitation or moderation; and writing or refreshing critical organizational documents such as mission, vision, values, and goals
Fees are for standard-length grants. Projects requiring an unknown amount of time may be contracted and billed at an hourly rate of $90 per hour. This may include extensive federal government grants. Fees will be specified contractually before work begins.
