My name is Ali Walton. I have a doctorate from the University of Denver and worked at the University for over 15 years in areas such as assessment, accreditation, research, and data analysis. Most recently, I held the position of Director of Institutional Research. Currently, I work with non-profit organizations to help realize their visions through the acquisition of grant funding.

Although I am located in Denver, Colorado, I have written grants for organizations thousands of miles away.  My experience has helped organizations with vastly different missions achieve their funding goals through well-researched, superbly written applications that get results.  I understand that each organization and each grant is different.  I’ll carefully review the specifications and requirements of your particular grant application and carefully tailor my work to your organization’s needs and character.  I look forward to partnering with you in the grant writing process.

My name is Amie Levesque, and I earned my Ph.D. in Sociology from Northeastern University in Boston.  I have been teaching, researching, and writing for over 10 years.  Since moving back to Denver in 2008, I have held faculty positions at the University of Denver and Colorado Women’s College.  During my time at Colorado Women’s College, I directed the Community-Based Research program in which I worked closely with large non-profit organizations to execute their research and program evaluation needs.

I joined Walton Grant Writing in 2015 to continue working with non-profit organizations and help them achieve their funding goals.  I work carefully and efficiently with each organization to understand their unique needs so that I may construct thoughtful and concise grant proposals.
